Special Rates
IDEA does not have an official hotel, but we have arranged a special rate with the Palmer House Hilton. This summer has some of the highest hotel rates in some time. However, rates change frequently we encourage you to search for a hotel through Google, Expedia, Orbitz, or your preferred online service.
IAI has reserved a block of rooms for IDEA attendees at the Palmer House Hilton for the rate of $295 per night ($322 after taxes). Rooms are limited, call (877) 865-5321 and use group code IA1 that's IA1 for special rate.
The Blake Hotel is now listing as $499/night, but we may be able to arrange a lower rate for you, please contact membership@iainstitute.org for more information.
Our team has not checked out the following hotels, we found them through Google maps ( View interactive map.). As of May 31, 2008, the rates of the area hotels were:
- The Peninsula, 108 E. Superior St. only king rooms available, $550/night
- Affinia Chicago Hotel, 166 E. Superior St., King or queen room $359/night
- The Sutton Place, 21 E. Bellevue Place, $330/night for king room, $363/night for double
- Travelodge, two doubles $169/night, one king $189/night
- Hostelling International, guests can book a 6 bed or 10 bed room for $64.62 and $73.86 (respectively) for the entire stay.
