Getting to the Conference

The conference is located at Parsons The New School for Design in Greenwich Village in Manhattan. It is easily accessible via mass transit (bus and/or subway) or car/taxi. Mass transit is the most efficient way to travel in New York City.

Mass Transit

Cost: The fare for a subway or local bus ride is $2. Buy a "Metrocard" for multiple rides and transfers. (You are allowed an automatic transfer between buses or a bus and the subway within a two hour period ONLY if you use a Metrocard.) There are two types of Metrocards: Pay-per-ride (regular) and Unlimited. Unlimited Metrocards allow for unlimited number of rides for a fixed price. One day fun passes ($7) and weekly passes ($24) are available. They can be purchased at all subway stations with cash, credit card, or ATM cards.
